WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2019
Every 40 seconds, someone loses their life to
suicide.
10th October every year is celebrated as
“World Mental Health Day” by the World Federation for Mental Health to raise
the awareness on mental health education.
Theme for this year is: Mental Health
promotion and suicide prevention. Suicidal
behavior has increased gradually in all parts of the world and, in the
past few decades, has reached alarming statistical levels.
This has turn
to be the second leading cause
of death among 15-29 year-olds globally. Every
suicide is a tragedy that affects families, communities and entire countries
and has long-lasting effects on the people left behind. Every year close
to 800 000 people take their own life and there are many more people who
attempt suicide.
Another interesting fact is that, 79%
of global suicides occur in low- and middle-income countries. 20% of people who suicide use pesticide
self-poisoning as a way to end their life.
ARE SUICIDES PREVENTABLE?
Yes, it is
preventable. Measures need to be taken:
- reducing access to the means of
suicide (e.g. pesticides, firearms, certain medications);
- early identification, treatment and
care of people with mental and substance use disorders, chronic pain and acute
emotional distress;
- follow-up care for people who
attempted suicide and provision of community support.
Good mental health is related to
mental and psychological well-being. WHO’s work to improve the mental health of
individuals and society at large includes the promotion of mental well-being,
the prevention of mental disorders, the protection of human rights and the care
of people affected by mental disorders.
My name is hoover, my 18 year old daughter, Tricia was diagnosed with herpes 3 years ago. Since then, we have moved from one hospital to another. We tried all kinds of pills, but every effort to get rid of the virus was futile. The bubbles continued to reappear after a few months. My daughter was using 200mg acyclovir pills. 2 tablets every 6 hours and 15g of fusitin cream. and H5 POT. Permanganate with water to be applied twice a day, but all still do not show results. So, I was on the internet a few months ago, to look for other ways to save my only son. Only then did I come across a comment about the herbal treatment of Dr Imoloa and decided to give it a try. I contacted him and he prepared some herbs and sent them, along with guidance on how to use them via the DHL courier service. my daughter used it as directed by dr imoloa and in less than 14 days, my daughter recovered her health.
